Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination. Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, grills, and food warmers safely and efficiently. Assist with food handling, portioning, and basic food preparation tasks to support smooth service flow. Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service. Restock supplies regularly and ensure all food items are stored correctly according to safety guidelines. Uphold hygiene standards through regular cleaning routines and adherence to food safety management protocols. Handle weight-based tasks such as portion control or ingredient measurement with accuracy. Support catering or banquet setups when needed, contributing to special events or large groups. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly desirable; experience in fine dining or catering is a plus. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and handling food safely is essential. Ability to operate kitchen equipment confidently and follow safety guidelines diligently. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor in face-to-face interactions. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing portions accurately. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, or processing payments is preferred. Familiarity with food industry standards related to dietary accommodations or banquet service enhances your candidacy. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform manual handling tasks comfortably.
