Cafeteria Worker
The Cafeteria Worker supports daily food service operations in a school setting. This role includes food preparation, meal service, maintaining cleanliness, and providing a positive dining experience for students and staff, all while following all safety and nutrition guidelines.
Assist with the preparation and service of breakfast and lunch meals Serve food according to portion and nutrition guidelines Set up and break down serving lines and dining areas Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and cafeteria Follow proper food safety and handling procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely (ovens, slicers, warmers, etc.) Restock food, supplies, and condiments as needed Provide friendly and respectful customer service to students and staff Assist with dishwashing and waste disposal Support special events, catering, or school functions as needed DescriptionFollow directions from the Cook/Manager or Food Service Director/Assistant Director
