PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepares all menu items using established departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assures presentation of all menu items adheres to established standards.
  • Assures all menu items are prepared according to federal, state, and local nutritional standards and established policies and procedures.
  • Provides services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Receives payments from students/adults and operates cash register system.
  • Serves food that is the correct portion, serving temperature, and quality. Any substandard quality food must be brought to the attention of the Cafeteria/School Nutrition Director.
  • Cleans cafeteria including serving areas and equipment continually.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent-Director or his/her designee.

The individual may be exposed to chemicals as are used in cafeteria cleaning and equipment use.
