Catering Manager SUMMARY Woodland Golf Club has been serving its private members since 1896. We range from casual dining to fine dining, to private events. Woodland is a very family-oriented and warm place to work. We are seeking a part-time Banquet Captain who can work weekday and weekend shifts. Employees must provide members and their guests with prompt, friendly and attentive service. 2-5 years of banquet/catering experience required; Country Club experience preferred but not mandatory. Approximately 20 hours a week, $20 - $25 based on experience. Great opportunity for part-time work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in overseeing the successful completion of events
• Assist in the training of incoming banquet staff
• Liaison between the client and back of house and banquet team
• Must be able to lead the team before, during.

and after events Respond urgently and appropriately to any patron concerns Relay food and beverage orders as well as informing the kitchen of any allergies or dietary restrictions Maintain constant professionalism in terms of appearance and mannerisms Assist with the set up and breakdown of event space Maintain a clean and stocked banquet wait station Serve all patrons in a friendly and positive manner Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment Protect establishment and patrons by constant adherence to safety and sanitation protocols

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 2

to 5 years of banquet/catering experience; Country Club experience preferred but not mandatory Ability to lift 20 pounds or more and remain comfortable on their feet for the duration of their shift Exceptional time management skills and successful at prioritizing tasks Excellent attention to quality and detail Positive attitude and ability to work sufficiently as a member on a team Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow verbal directions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
