Cafeteria Helpers

Permanent Part-Time Work Location and Hours:

Woburn High School

•5-hour helper

•Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM 1:00 PM

Benefits:

Hourly wage of $18.94. Accure 1 1/3 sick day per month and 3 personal days per school year.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prefer experience working with food, cashiering, and children, but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must pass screenings for public school employees, including CORI, fingerprinting and eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Work with cafeteria managers for supplies needed for the daily menu, which includes heating, portioning, cutting, and chopping a variety of food products.
• Responsible for following all HACCP regulations, personal hygiene regulations, uniform regulations, and any state or government regulations required by law.
• Prepares supplies for the next day of service.
• Cashiering or serving during school lunch periods.
• Washing down lunch tables between lunches.
• Assuring proper storage of all food.
• Must clean a variety of kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to: mixers, slicers, counter tops, storage areas, service linens, floors, shelves, etc.
• Assist with proper rotation of food and assist with putting all deliveries away.
• Assist with other duties that are assigned by the manager.
