Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional in-person customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring food safety protocols are strictly followed. Duties Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment through regular cleaning routines. Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems. Ensure compliance with food safety management practices and sanitation standards at all times. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and addressing their needs promptly. Support catering and banquet events by setting up serving stations and assisting with food distribution. Follow dietary guidelines when handling special requests or allergy-sensitive meals. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating supply needs to supervisors. Skills Proven experience in food service roles within fine dining or restaurant environments. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety protocols, and sanitizing procedures. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dishwashers. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person. Basic math skills for cash handling, portioning, and inventory calculations. Knowledge of wine types and proper serving techniques is a plus. Ability to handle manual tasks safely, including weight handling and operating POS systems accurately. Previous banquet or catering experience is desirable. Understanding of dietary restrictions and food allergy management within the hospitality industry.
