A Busser, Banquet Worker, or Cafeteria Attendant assists with food service at a restaurant, large banquet hall or cafeteria. Removes used dishes, sets tables with clean dishes and linens, replenishes foods served at food stations or buffet tables, and provides water, coffee or other beverages for patrons.
Performs preparation and service of food under general supervision. Duties may involve cold preparation and assembly; cutting, chopping, portioning of food products; assembly of patient food trays; cafeteria assignments, management and other tasks as assigned. Will be cross trained in a variety of tasks within the Food Services department and may provide support to the Coffee and Smoothie Bars. May be trained to utilize the steamers, warmers/ovens and fryers, to support cafeteria production. Takes into consideration age related factors in the preparation and delivery of food for patients, staff and visitors
