The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting, and training, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as all operating procedures. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful. The salary range for this position is $71,000
  • $80,000.
This is the pay range Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay. Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience and education. Role Overview Assisting with daily operations across the resort's dining outlets, including Camino Springs Market, Vista Square Kitchen, The Well bar, Palmadoro's, and In-Room Dining. Supporting outlet managers and supervisors in delivering consistent Hyatt service standards. Coaching and developing hourly colleagues to foster a positive, engaged team culture. Partnering with culinary, events, and front-of-house teams to support seamless service and memorable guest experiences. Assisting with scheduling, labor management, and cost controls. Supporting new concepts, seasonal activations, and property-wide initiatives. Upholding Hyatt brand standards and reinforcing a culture of care across all guest touchpoints. Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of food & beverage management experience preferred, ideally in a hotel or luxury hospitality environment. Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work a flexible schedule. Team player with proven ability to motivate and support colleagues. Dynamic leader with clear, concise communication skills. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Hospitality education
  • a degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management is an asset.
Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful.
