Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation check-ins using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist with seating guests efficiently, managing waitlists, and updating reservation statuses with excellent organizational skills Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and dining areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Support servers by bussing tables promptly, resetting tables efficiently, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate seating arrangements and guest needs Assist in maintaining guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service that enhances overall satisfaction Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Strong communication skills, including clear phone communication and excellent customer service abilities Basic math skills for handling reservations, table counts, and POS transactions Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively Hospitality or restaurant experience that demonstrates guest relations skills is highly valued Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where every guest feels like a VIP!
