Banquet Setup/Tear Down Marriott Pontiac - 3.0 Pontiac, MI Job Details Part-time From $16 an hour 12 hours ago Qualifications Maintaining an organized workspace Moving Bussing Event cleanup Venue guest services Full Job Description Event Setup Set up banquet rooms, meeting spaces, and function areas according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Arrange tables, chairs, staging, dance floors, podiums, linens, and other event furnishings. Prepare buffets, beverage stations, and service areas. Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and ready before scheduled start times. Maintain inventory of banquet equipment, tables, chairs, and supplies. Event Tear Down Remove tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and equipment after events. Break down and store banquet equipment safely and efficiently. Return event spaces to standard room configurations or prepare for upcoming functions. Clear and transport dirty linens, dishes, and service items to designated areas. Dispose of trash and ensure meeting rooms are cleaned and reset. General Responsibilities Follow all safety and lifting procedures when moving equipment and furnishings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet storage areas. Communicate with banquet management regarding room setup changes, maintenance concerns, or equipment needs. Assist banquet servers and other departments as needed to support successful events. Adhere to hotel standards, policies, and guest service expectations.
