In this role, you will be the first friendly face guests see in the morning, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional breakfast service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences for our guests, setting the tone for a fantastic day ahead. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, guest service expertise, and passion for hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly stocked throughout service hours Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment Serve guests efficiently while providing friendly and attentive customer service Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions Buss tables promptly to keep the dining area tidy and inviting Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Support catering or banquet setups as needed for special events or group reservations Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cash handling skills Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Experience Candidates should possess previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, ideally within restaurant, hotel, or catering environments. Specific skills that will help you succeed include: Kitchen experience with food preparation and cooking techniques Customer service background with excellent communication skills Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Experience with coffee making or barista duties is a plus Previous roles involving bussing, serving, or host/host responsibilities are highly valued Hotel or restaurant experience that demonstrates strong guest relations skills Join us in creating a welcoming environment where every guest starts their day with a smile!
