ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets guests; takes orders; serves food and beverages; collect payments. Thoroughly knowledgeable on the menu, daily specials, and beverages. Enters orders into Point-of-Sale System, maintains accurate guests cover counts, totals receipts correctly, verifies sales, and collects payment for all food and beverages served. Requests proper identification from guests purchasing alcoholic beverages when legal age is questionable (under the age of 30). Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the room service kitchen and service area. Stocks/replenishes an adequate supply of product and equipment. Removes trash, sweeps, and mops floors. Performs all duties on position checklist including all cleaning duties. Complies with company, local, state, and national regulations pertaining to food quality, cleanliness and sanitation standards, alcohol service, and safety. Completes any and all other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1-year related experience in a high-volume, high energy, food and beverage environment. Availability to work nights and weekends. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to position self to move about. The employee frequently is required to operate and use server station tools and equipment; and communicate with guests, employees, and management. The employee must move up to 30 pounds frequently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
