Job Description

Dining/Dish Room Attendant (As Needed Under 20 hours week) The Salvation Army USA Central Territory United States, Missouri, Bourbon 1466 Highway North (Show on map) Mar 12, 2026 The Salvation Army Midland Division Camp Mihaska located in Bourbon, Missouri, is looking for a Dining/Dish Room Attendant. This position is expected to advance and support the Mission of The Salvation Army. This position performs a variety of dining room and kitchen duties as directed. This position is a part-time, 19 hours per week, $15.00 per hour. 1466 Hwy "N", Bourbon, Missouri Essential Functions Set up and prepare the dining room prior to each meal.
Serve meals efficiently and courteously.
Wash tables, sweep and mop the floor after each meal as assigned
Operate in dish room and trash removal as assigned.
Assist in the kitchen as assigned.
Report problems with staff and campers to the lead cook.
Adhere to and enforce camp policies and procedures.
Be present at all meetings and programs unless otherwise directed.
Work all camp rec rotations as assigned.
Maintain a courteous and professional attitude towards campers and staff.
Maintain confidentiality.

Must be a team player and self-starter able to work with minimum supervision.
Understand and support the goals and objectives of The Salvation Army Camp program. Physical Requirements Capable of participating in camp activities.
Frequently lifts 25 pounds, occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds and moves 50 or more pounds using dolly/cart/truck.
