MAJOR FUNCTIONS

Expedite food from the kitchen to the restaurant, clean and make sure the buffet is presentable and the food is displaced nicely, and maintaining high sanitation standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Report to work at the scheduled time and in the appropriate uniform. Comply with Hilton's "clean as you go" policy. Always use the associate entrance when going in and out of the hotel and stay in your work area. Do not loiter after work. Be hospitable to both guests and co-workers; follow hotel policies.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES

Set up the buffet. Keep the service area clean at all times and ensure that the area is stocked in accordance with the par checklist. Assist in collecting finished plates, glasses, etc and ensure proper breakdown of dishes at the stewarding area. Collect the necessary supplies from the storeroom on a daily basis, collect the linen from the laundry and prepare the napkins as per prescribed procedure. Assist as needed Light Prep Cook & Cooking Duties as needed.
