Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented team member to support banquet kitchen operations on a part-time basis. Shifts include breakfast, lunch and dinner. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in helping deliver a positive guest experience through organized, efficient kitchen support. This position works in a fast-paced banquet and kitchen environment where teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential. The role may involve exposure to heat, noise, and varying workloads depending on event schedules. Responsibilities Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen leadership. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, equipment, and storage spaces. Support banquet service by preparing trays, restocking supplies, and ensuring items are ready on time. Follow food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures at all times. Wash dishes, utensils, and small equipment as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing deliveries in accordance with kitchen procedures. Communicate clearly with team members to help ensure accurate and timely event execution. Perform additional support tasks as assigned to meet operational needs. Qualifications Previous experience in a kitchen, banquet, catering, or hospitality environment is helpful but not required. Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently, and remain organized in a busy setting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items as needed for kitchen operations. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Positive attitude and willingness to support the team where needed.
