Job Title:
Household Assistant - Cleaning, Food Prep & Errands (Part-Time, Weekly) Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, pleasant, and detail-oriented Household Assistant to support cleaning, basic food prep (such as washing and chopping vegetables), and occasional errands. This is an ongoing weekly position for approximately 4 to 8 hours per week, with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Household cleaning including sweeping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping Organize household items and maintain a tidy environment Wash, peel, and chop vegetables or assist with simple meal preparation tasks Run errands as requested (e.g., grocery pickup, post office) Unpack and organize items or boxes as needed Dispose of trash and recyclables properly Qualifications Trustworthy and pleasant demeanor Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Common sense and problem-solving ability Prior experience in residential or hotel housekeeping, caregiving, or personal assisting preferred Comfortable with light food preparation Able to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for errands (preferred but not required) Compensation $17-$23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications Schedule Weekly hours: 4-8 Flexible days and times Ideal for someone seeking steady, part-time work in a private home
