American Leadership Academy-Coastal is now accepting applications for a Part Time Food Service Assistant. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check. The Food Service Assistant plays a key supportive role in preparing and delivering nutritious meals to students, while operating within a structured environment that prioritizes food safety, sanitation, and timely service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Follow all safety and state regulations for food handling procedures and sanitation to ensure that safe conditions are maintained in the kitchen, food-serving areas, and in dining area. Set up serving lines and serve meal or meal components. Deliver meals to students as needed. Assist with ensuring cleanliness of food serving and dining area(s) as needed. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) or payment system to process lunch payments as needed. Other duties as assigned.
