Maintain the dining room and service area in a clean and orderly fashion. Assist residents with additional daily care needs as necessary. To provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.Essential Duties :
Provides table services to residents and guests according to Omega Senior Living standards. Presents a clean and professional image to all residents and guests in the dining room. Must maintain a working knowledge of daily menus and communicate in a professional and courteous fashion. Take note of resident or guest special requests and assist in accommodating them whenever possible. Cleans tables of soiled tableware and deliver them to the dish cleaning area. Removes and replaces soiled tablecloths and napkins and resets table according to expectations. Performs additional preparation work as required to include food plating, plate preparation and garnishing. Performs cleaning duties as required to include floors, doors, mats, countertops and serving tables. Maintains salad bar to ensure it is properly stocked and soup table to ensure water is present to avoid scorching.Benefits:

High school diploma or GED required. Prefer prior experience in a commercial restaurant, assisted living or SNU environment.Specific Requirements:
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and public. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level, they are currently functioning.Benefits
