The position requires attention to cleanliness, food quality, and efficient preparation in a busy restaurant environment. Responsibilities Prepare vegetables, meats, sauces, and other ingredients for service. Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food-preparation procedures. Keep food preparation stations clean, stocked, and organized. Label, store, and rotate ingredients properly. Assist kitchen staff during busy service periods. Follow food-safety and sanitation requirements. Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or concerns. Help with cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas. Support other kitchen tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous food-preparation or restaurant experience is helpful. Basic knowledge of kitchen and food-handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety. Reliable attendance and a positive team attitude.
