Responsibilities Prepare and assemble breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, ovens, toasters, and coffee machines. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food prep equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures. Follow food safety management protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items. Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning ingredients, setting up buffets or serving stations, and restocking supplies as needed. Support the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks while adhering to dietary restrictions and allergy considerations. Refill and maintain buffet, coffee, juice and toast station Uphold high standards of customer service by greeting guests in person with friendliness and professionalism. Using and operating our dish machine, sweeping and mopping floors. Ensure compliance with health regulations by maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment at all times. Experience Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in hotel breakfast service. Experience in food preparation, serving, or banquet operations will be advantageous. Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and handling food safely is essential. Barista experience or knowledge of wine service can be a plus for supporting beverage stations or special breakfast events. Prior work involving manual handling of kitchen equipment or weight-based tasks demonstrates reliability in physically demanding roles. Customer service background with in-person interaction skills enhances guest satisfaction and teamwork. Experience processing cash transactions using POS systems ensures smooth checkout experiences for guests. Knowledge of dietary accommodations or catering experience adds value when supporting diverse guest needs.
