Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Buser and become a vital part of delivering exceptional food service experiences! As a Buser, you will play a key role in maintaining the flow of our busy café or quick-service restaurant by efficiently bussing tables, clearing dishes, and supporting the front-of-house team. Your energetic attitude and attention to cleanliness will ensure our guests enjoy a welcoming, sanitized environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in food handling, customer service, and food industry operations while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and sanitation practices Support servers by bussing tables efficiently and managing dishware collection Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are followed throughout your shift Handle cash handling responsibilities for any retail or retail-like sales, including basic math calculations for transactions Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including kitchen spaces, counters, and dining zones Support the team with food industry best practices such as proper food handling, serving techniques, and quick service procedures Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills to create positive guest interactions Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and food industry regulations Experience in café, grocery store, retail math, or quick service & fast-food restaurants is advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality service with enthusiasm!
