Job Description
The Bloomfield School Distrcit is looking for dependable, friendly Substitute Food Service Helpers to join our school nutrition team on an on-call, as-needed basis. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals to students in a welcoming environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a flexible schedule that aligns with the school calendar. What you'll be doing: Helping prepare and serve breakfast and lunch to the students. Keeping the kitchen and cafeteria clean, safe, and organized. Washing dishes and helping with the post-lunch cleanup. Being a positive, welcoming face for the students as they come through the lunch line. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation, portioning, and serving of school meals (breakfast and lunch). Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining area in compliance with health regulations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with dishwashing and cleanup. Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
