Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and replenishing buffet stations or self-serve areas. Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service. Follow food safety management protocols to ensure all food is handled safely and stored correctly according to health regulations. Support catering or special event setups when required, demonstrating flexibility within the hospitality environment. Qualifications Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable. Strong skills in food preparation, handling, and serving within a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper cleaning techniques. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; manual handling skills are essential. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels. Familiarity with wine knowledge or beverage service is a plus but not required. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; experience in in-person customer interactions is preferred. Prior catering or hospitality experience will be advantageous; familiarity with POS systems is beneficial.
