Key Responsibilities Maintain a friendly and efficient service attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers. Set up assigned stations and prepare hot/cold food areas. Brew coffee, fill beverages, and stock condiments, paper goods, and china. Prepare, portion, assemble, and label resident meals. Serve meals and assist with special functions as directed. Clean tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Sort silverware and restock food and supplies. Remove trash and transport to disposal areas. Adhere to sanitation procedures and safety regulations (OSHA, local/state/federal). Attend meetings and in-service trainings. Maintain professional appearance and punctuality. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. ServSafe certification preferred. Knowledge of food service production and dietary restrictions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry items throughout shift. Frequent use of hands for grasping, sorting, and cleaning. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (medium to heavy work). Exposure to fluctuating temperatures, noise, and kitchen-related hazards (e.g., chemicals, mechanical equipment). Non-Physical Demands Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members. Knowledge of menus and dietary restrictions. Ability to follow instructions and maintain a professional demeanor. Commitment to punctuality, attendance, and teamwork. We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Food Service Worker to join our Culinary Services team. This role involves performing routine food service tasks in the kitchen, dining rooms, and resident areas to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience for our residents.
