Counter Attendant / Food Runner - DeWolf Brewing (Victor, NY) DeWolf Brewing is a brand-new, 150-seat brewpub opening in early fall 2025 in Victor, NY. We're creating a space where thoughtfully crafted beer, elevated pub fare, and community converge — and we're looking for friendly, detail-oriented Counter Attendants / Food Runners to help bring that vision to life. As a Counter Attendant / Food Runner at DeWolf Brewing, you'll be the first point of contact for many guests, taking food orders at the counter, processing payments, and ensuring guests receive their food promptly and accurately. You'll work closely with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams to deliver excellent hospitality in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. Responsibilities Guest Service & Order Taking Greet guests with a friendly attitude Take food orders at the counter and enter them accurately into the POS system Answer questions about menu items and make suggestions for beer pairings or specials Process payments quickly and accurately Food Running & Service Support Deliver food to tables promptly and with accuracy Ensure guests have everything they need after food delivery Communicate guest requests or concerns to the kitchen and management quickly Bus tables and maintain a clean dining room Organization & Cleanliness Keep counter service area, condiment stations, and guest self-service areas stocked and clean Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Assist in closing duties, including cleaning counters, restocking supplies, and resetting dining areas Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred but not required Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs ServSafe certification a plus (can be obtained after hire) Traits We're Looking For Friendly and approachable personality Positive, team-first attitude Dependable and punctual Passion for hospitality and creating a great guest experience Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Shift meals, beer perks, and staff discounts Opportunities for growth within the brewery Supportive and collaborative work environment
