Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and proactive Busser to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Busser, you'll be the backbone of smooth dining operations, ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming environment. Your role is key in supporting servers and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food and beverage service, and creating a positive experience for every guest. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables efficiently to keep the dining area tidy and ready for new guests. Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic meal prep and food handling when needed. Support servers by bussing tables, delivering beverages, and helping with order taking when required. Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and managing trash disposal in compliance with food safety standards. Help with beverage preparation and restocking supplies to ensure smooth service flow. Uphold excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and responding to their needs promptly. Follow proper POS procedures using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience as a host/hostess or in restaurant settings is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices, dishwashing, and basic math skills for cash handling. Ability to perform light food preparation tasks such as meal prep or meat cutting when necessary. Strong communication skills and phone etiquette to interact effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with restaurant technology including POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and dedication to guest relations are essential for success.
