Job Summary We are looking for a friendly and organized Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our vibrant team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth seating and reservation management. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a comfortable dining environment. Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, updating guest information accurately. Answer phone calls professionally, taking reservations, answering inquiries, and providing information about the restaurant. Maintain an organized waitlist and coordinate with servers to optimize table turnover and guest flow. Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting areas. Follow food safety standards and uphold excellent customer service practices at all times. Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; hospitality experience is a plus. Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interaction. Familiarity with restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations is advantageous. A friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional guest services.
