Schedule:
20 hours/week. Fridays required, plus 3 days scheduled Mon-Thurs (additional hours as needed for events). About RiverTree Christian Church Join a team where your work has a purpose! We are seeking a motivated, service-minded Part-Time Food Service Assistant Cook to join our Food Service Team. In this role, you will play an essential part in our daily operations—preparing nutritious meals for our school students and supporting various church-wide functions. If you have a heart for service, a love for culinary work, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we would love to meet you! What You Will Do (Primary Responsibilities)
School Meal Prep & Support:
Help prepare daily school lunches and snacks; accurately track food allergies and student counts, while maintaining a positive working relationship with other team members.
Kitchen Excellence:
Handle daily opening routines, manage inventory, and maintain high safety and sanitation standards.
Event Support:
Assist with food prep, presentation, serving, and cleanup for church and school events. What We Are Looking For (Qualifications & Requirements)
Experience:
Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred.
Physical:
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift/carry kitchen supplies.
Spiritual Alignment:
Demonstrates a daily pursuit of Christ, a commitment to personal spiritual growth, and a heart for service.
