Overview
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Food Distribution Assistant Manager I assists the manager with program operations including studying practices and methods and making recommendations for changes, assists in budget preparation, and monitors expenditures as well as supervises assigned area and personnel. The Manager provides supervision and technical assistance for staff in the assigned area. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Agriculture, Business Administration, Family Consumer Sciences, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
- Three (3) years of related experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
- Required to drive to outlying stores and to assist store supervisors as needed.
