Job Description

SEIU Pay Range:
$21.01 to $31.16 Dependent on Experience Performs a variety of routine duties related to preparation and serving of food and preparation of/serving Espresso and other beverages. Keeps kitchen, work areas, and cooking utensils/equipment clean. Job Requirements Knowledge of /Skill/Ability to: Follow oral and written instructions and established procedures. Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, including Barista techniques and procedures. Must be able to follow recipes and preparation instructions. Must be able to perform simple computations and record keeping. Must be able to adequately and proficiently run a cash register.
License/Certification :
Current Food Handlers Certificate or able to obtain within thirty (30) days of hire Education and/or
Experience Minimum Education:
Less than High School;
Minimum Experience:
On-the-job training; previous barista or food service experience preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance Subject to burns and cuts. Position involves frequent prolonged standing, walking, sitting, stooping, and occasional carrying and lifting of lightweight materials (up to 25 pounds). Requires visual acuity and depth perception to recognize words and numbers; and hand and finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to use a computer keyboard and common office
