What you will be doing:
You'll be responsible for monitoring students that live on residential floors to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the Center. Fosters an atmosphere conducive to character development through the encouragement of favorable behavior patterns. Facilitates prompt and appropriate assistance in the event of injury, illness, traumatic experience, and emotionalism; responsible for documenting student activity and incidences.
Essential Functions:
Direct and assist with dorm activities and dorm competitions as designated by supervisor. Help students deal with the daily stresses of dorm living and enlighten them to the perks of it. Prepare documentation including accountability of students and an activity log. Transport students to and from recreation functions, as required. Conduct the residential living class, as assigned. Develop and participate in a special interest group and perform quarterly property inventory, as required. Patrol and monitor dorm and grounds.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency, Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds, and walk outside on uneven terrain in varying weather conditions during patrols Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
