Job Description
The Modified Full-Time (52.5+ hours/2 week pay period) Dining Services Assistant provides assistance in all dining services functions as directed and instructed in accordance with established dining services policies and procedures, including: Serving meals in dining rooms and delivering trays, as instructed and in accordance with established portions and dietary restrictions and guidelines; Checking trays for appropriateness prior to distribution; Assisting with daily scheduled cleaning duties including surfaces, refrigerators, freezers, and floors; Preparing meal trays, food carts, dining rooms, etc. for meal service; Distributing and collecting resident menus; Delivering food service carts and trays to designated areas; Performing dishwashing and cleaning procedures; Preparing and delivering snacks; Assisting in preparation, set-up, service, and clean-up for special events and parties; Following established safety guidelines and providing a safety environment for residents and coworkers; Ensuring residents' right are protected; and, Working every-other weekend ($2/hour differential) and every-other holiday (Double-Time!).
