Job Summary The Food Service Worker plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. This position involves various tasks related to food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess strong interpersonal skills to enhance customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products served. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation areas. Assist with maintaining a tidy dining area for guests. Operate point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries. Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely and service during peak hours. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Skills Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in sales or upselling within the food service or retail sectors is advantageous. Solid understanding of basic math for cash handling. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
