Set up breakfast buffet stations, including arranging food displays, utensils, and beverages to create an inviting atmosphere. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas, including kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment, following food safety sanitizing protocols. Assist guests with their selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service throughout the breakfast service. Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace when setting up or replenishing supplies efficiently and safely. Operate POS systems for transactions accurately and efficiently while managing cash or credit card payments. Support catering or banquet functions as needed, ensuring timely setup and breakdown of breakfast events. Follow all health regulations related to food safety, dietary accommodations, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe dining environment. Qualifications Previous experience in fine dining, restaurant service, or catering environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling practices is essential. Experience with food preparation, culinary techniques, or banquet service will be advantageous. Familiarity with serving in hospitality settings demonstrates strong customer service skills. Ability to handle manual tasks such as weight handling safely within a fast-paced environment. Barista experience or knowledge of wine can be a plus for beverage service offerings.
