Alfresco Pasta is looking for a dependable, hardworking Packaging Worker to join our growing food manufacturing team. This position works specifically in our Packaging Department , packaging finished pasta and food products for our customers. This is an active, physical position . Team members are on their feet throughout the shift and frequently lift, carry, move, and stack cases weighing up to 50 lbs. Our packaging and storage areas are also kept cool/cold , and employees may need to enter cooler and freezer areas during the workday. What You'll Do Package finished pasta and other food products according to specifications Pack finished products into cases and prepare them for storage or shipment Apply and verify product and case labels Check products for correct weight, seal, label, appearance, and quality Operate packaging equipment and assist with basic setup and adjustments Frequently lift, carry, move, and stack cases and materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift Move finished products and packaging materials between packaging, cooler, freezer, and storage areas Complete required packaging and production records Keep the packaging area clean, organized, and sanitary Follow GMP, allergen, food safety, sanitation, and employee safety procedures Communicate product, packaging, or equipment problems to the Production Lead or QA Physical Requirements - Please Read Before Applying This is a physically demanding position .

Applicants must be able to:

Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs throughout the workday Stand and remain active for extended periods Perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and stacking Work safely at a steady production pace Work comfortably in a cool/cold food manufacturing environment Enter cooler and freezer areas as required These are essential requirements of the Packaging Worker position. What We're Looking For Previous experience in packaging, warehouse, production, food manufacturing, or a similar physical work environment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
