Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our Indoor Playground and Café operations. This pivotal role combines hands-on management with strategic oversight, ensuring a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for families and guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the indoor playground and café, ensuring smooth functioning and guest satisfaction. Lead, motivate, and manage staff including supervising experience to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high team morale. Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff shifts to meet operational needs efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; conduct regular safety checks and maintain first aid and CPR certifications. Manage guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and enhancing overall visitor experience. Oversee budgeting, cash handling, inventory control, and operational expenses to meet financial targets. Plan and coordinate events or special programs within the venue to boost engagement and revenue. Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, incidents, staffing, and guest feedback for continuous improvement. Collaborate with management on strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and venue enhancements to maximize growth opportunities. Skills Proven managerial experience in hospitality or entertainment venues; nightclub experience or event venue experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and make sound managerial decisions. Excellent communication skills for team management, customer interaction, and report writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes. Experience in events management with the ability to coordinate multiple activities seamlessly. Knowledge of operations management including budgeting, cash handling, and resource allocation. Customer service expertise with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences in a lively environment. Technical proficiency related to facility operations; familiarity with safety protocols including first aid and CPR certifications preferred. Ability to handle shift management responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of service quality. Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in resort or hospitality settings is advantageous.
