Position Overview The Utility / Dishwasher position is essential to maintaining a clean and organized back-of-house environment in a setting. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, from dishwashing to assisting with deliveries and kitchen organization. There are opportunities to learn culinary skills and advance your career. Essential Responsibilities Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas. Load and unload dishwashing machines. Wash specific items by hand (e.g., cutting boards, large pots and pans). Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately. Assist with putting away deliveries and maintaining an organized back-of-house. Set up workstations before meal prep begins. Ensure a sufficient supply of clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours. Monitor dishwashing machine operations and report any technical or performance issues promptly. Regularly remove garbage and sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor. Previous work experience as a Dishwasher. Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines. Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as needed. Strong time management skills. Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation rules. Availability to work in shifts. High school diploma is a plus.
