Meal Preparation:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and portioning of breakfast and lunch items following USDA guidelines and standardized recipes.
Student Service:
Serve meals to elementary school students in a friendly, efficient, and welcoming manner.
Kitchen Safety & Sanitation:
Maintain a clean, hygienic work station. Assist with washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, sweeping/mopping kitchen floors, and disposing of trash.
Inventory & Stocking:
Help unload, organize, and store food supplies and milk deliveries. Point of Sale (Optional/As Needed): Operate the cafeteria cash register or touchscreen system, accurately processing student meal accounts. Job Description Effective July 1, 2026 Lane 2 Step 1 ($18.88/hour) Salary Schedules
