Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the first friendly face our guests see in the morning, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere while preparing and serving a delicious breakfast buffet. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable guest experiences, setting the tone for a fantastic stay. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, hospitality talents, and passion for exceptional service. Responsibilities Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring food presentation is appealing and replenished promptly. Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and maintaining quality standards. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, buffet stations, kitchen equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations. Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent guest service throughout their breakfast experience. Manage food handling procedures responsibly, adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and payments accurately. Support catering or banquet setups as needed and assist with bussing tables to ensure a tidy dining environment. Requirements Previous kitchen experience or food preparation background preferred; enthusiasm for learning new skills is a plus. Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous; hospitality or restaurant experience is highly valued. Familiarity with meal preparation, coffee service, or catering operations is beneficial. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as part of a flexible schedule.
