We have a team of hardworking folks who know how to get in and get the job done. We also manage to enjoy ourselves. We start compensation at $18/hr+tips. Tips range from $6
- 10/hr with an average of $8/hr between credit card and cash tips.
Credit card tips are on the paycheck, paycheck is every two weeks. Everyone gets a staff meal and drink, during off-hours you get a 50% discount on any non-prepackaged items. You get to choose one person who receives a 50% discount when they come in. Once you are fully trained and up to speed you receive a $1/hr raise(typically 3 months). I am hiring a candidate who is has multiple years of line/prep experience and is looking to work a job that is good-paying, with consistent hours/schedule, in a customer-facing postion, while still working with food. Barista experience is not required. Starting off this will primarily be a sandwich making/made to order food preparation postion while also doing other work around the cafe during downtime. With due time this position be trained to work all facets of the cafe including but not limited to:
- Running the POS and working/moving with guests through our menu.
- How to work the espresso machine, make tea based drinks, lotus, etc.
- Prepare all food items on menu and operating the panini press.
- Dishwashing.
- Prep.
- Lobby cleaning.
- Open/Closing duties. Schedule and Hours we are hiring for: Monday 10am-close(typically 3:30-3:45pm) Wednesday 10am-close(typically 3:30-3:45pm) Friday

5hrs/week, 17.5/week if working events. We do not cut, you are expected to work the hours you are scheduled. If we are getting crushed you are not required to stay, but you are welcome to. We are closed Nov 25-29, Dec 24-Jan 2 As the cafe grows, the hours for this position have the opportunity as well. Starting off, this is a part-time position, as more hours become available, we offer internally first before looking outwards. As we are fairly new, we are still improving our systems and are open to input and suggestions regarding organization, work flow, and general thoughts regarding the menu. Mostly I am looking for someone who thrives in a friendly, upbeat, and lighthearted work environment while getting the job done. I am looking for someone with a sense of urgency, positive attitude, and welcoming demeanor. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Have knowledge of each of the drinks and menu items. Work prep lists to ensure cafe is fully stocked for rushes and future service. Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately. Provide excellent customer service. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas to ensure a welcoming environment. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Assist with inventory management by filling out prep and par sheets. Have a collaborative mindset with coworkers and guests. Continue education and bring ideas to the table. Qualifications Minimum 3 years line cook experience required FOH preferred but not required MAST 12 and Spokane County food handler's card required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes up to 50lbs and moving equipment as needed.
