Duties Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and properly presented Replenish food and beverage items throughout service, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all surfaces, utensils, and equipment meet health standards Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, and arranging items to enhance presentation Clean dining areas, including tables, chairs, and counters, adhering to sanitation protocols Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while handling food products with care and proper manual handling techniques Process cash transactions accurately at the breakfast service point using POS (Point of Sale) systems when applicable Support catering or banquet setups as needed for special events or group bookings Ensure compliance with food safety management practices and dietary guidelines for diverse guest needs Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly Skills Previous experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards Experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and cleaning protocols Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, warmers, and ovens safely Strong manual handling skills for weight lifting and moving food supplies or equipment Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels Knowledge of wine pairing or beverage service is a plus but not required Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in catering or banquet settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly in busy mornings Familiarity with POS systems for processing payments accurately Embark on a rewarding journey where your dedication transforms breakfast into an experience guests look forward to every morning!
