Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during the breakfast hours. Your primary focus will be on food preparation, presentation, and ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for food service, contributing to an enjoyable breakfast experience for all guests. Responsibilities Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items, beverages, and utensils in accordance with food safety standards. Ensure all food items are fresh, well-presented, and replenished as needed throughout the breakfast service. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. Communicate effectively with guests to provide assistance and answer any questions regarding menu items. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for any transactions if required. Assist with catering orders or special requests from guests when necessary. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery and ensure timely service. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members. Experience with coffee preparation is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness. A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings on weekends.
