Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Meat Cutter, Sausage Maker, Night Cleaner, and Service Case Worker, working across all shifts to ensure the highest standards of meat product production, safety, and customer service. This multifaceted role offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in meat processing, food safety management, and sanitation while contributing to a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with USDA regulations and manufacturing standards, ensuring our products meet rigorous safety and quality benchmarks. If you thrive in a hands-on setting with a focus on safety and precision, this position is perfect for you! Duties Perform precise meat cutting and butchery tasks using professional knife skills to prepare various meat products according to specifications. Manufacture sausages and other processed meat items following established recipes and food safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of work areas through night cleaning duties, adhering strictly to sanitation standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Operate assembly line equipment efficiently while ensuring compliance with manufacturing standard operating procedures. Package finished products accurately for retail display or storage, ensuring proper labeling and food safety standards are met. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet USDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards, and food safety requirements. Support service case operations by stocking, rotating stock, and assisting customers as needed during all shifts. Qualifications Proven experience in meat processing, butchery, or food production within a manufacturing or food processing plant environment. Skilled in meat cutting techniques with proficiency in knife handling and meat product assembly line work. Basic math skills for portioning, weighing ingredients, and inventory management. Mechanical knowledge related to food processing equipment is preferred. Ability to follow detailed manufacturing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) accurately while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on food safety management and regulatory compliance. Flexibility to work all shifts including nights; ability to stand for extended periods; physical strength for lifting heavy loads when necessary.
