Our Meat Cutters are vital to our operation, providing our members with high-quality meat products by cutting, trimming, and preparing meat while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Responsibilities Accurately cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products according to company specifications and member orders Setting up and maintaining clean, well-organized workstations that adhere to BJ's safety and sanitation standards Coordinating with the meat department manager to manage inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed Ensuring the meat preparation area remains safe and clean, compliant with health regulations Providing excellent customer service, answering questions and fulfilling member requests Helping in other areas of the store's food and beverage departments as needed Required Skills Proficiency with professional meat cutting tools and machinery Strong knowledge of various meat types and cuts Attention to detail for precise cutting and safety Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Team cooperation and effective communication skills
