Job Description
The Produce and Floral Department Manager is responsible for leading the Produce and Floral departments.
Responsibilities include:
managing the team, managing inventory, pricing product, merchandising, ordering, reworking product, receiving, unloading, storage, rotation of merchandise and building of displays, maintaining a clean and organized environment, assisting customers with locating items, providing a high level of customer service, and performing other duties as assigned.Required:
- Ability to work up to eight hours per day
- Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and multiply
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to reach and stock items up to six feet high
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to operate stock dollies and box cutters
- Ability to pull or push pallet jacks with significant weight
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers
- Produce, perishable or food service management experience is a plus
