This role blends creativity, business judgment, and hands-on leadership . You'll elevate established beverage programs, create distinct identities for new concepts, develop great people, and ensure ambitious ideas translate into exceptional guest experiences. •Role is based out of San Diego• What You'll Own Create distinctive beverage programs tailored to each concept. Lead drinks from ideation through recipe development, costing, training, launch, and ongoing quality control. Build scalable systems that improve consistency, speed, and profitability without sacrificing creativity. Partner with culinary, operations, marketing, and restaurant leaders to ensure beverage complements the food, brand, and guest experience. Coach bartenders, managers, and service teams—on the floor as well as in training. Guide openings, menu launches, vendor relationships, purchasing, inventory, pricing, and beverage performance. What We're Looking For 5+ years of progressive beverage leadership experience, ideally with a respected multi-unit or multi-concept restaurant group. Deep knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, and evolving beverage trends. A track record of creating memorable, executable, and commercially successful beverage programs. A hands-on, coaching-oriented leadership style that builds trust and develops strong teams. Strong command of menu engineering, purchasing, inventory, cost controls, compliance, and profitability. Meaningful relationships across the beverage industry. Flexibility to travel and work nights or weekends when openings, training, or restaurant support require it. The right person will be equally energized by creating an exceptional drink and helping a team execute it beautifully on a packed Saturday night.
Starting salary:
$130,000-$150,000
DOE Pay:
$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
