Job Description
Wally's Wine & Spirits is seeking a talented Pastry Cook to join our Commissary Kitchen team in Culver City. The pastry cook will help create memorable dessert experiences that reflect our premium hospitality and culinary standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven pastry professional to bring creativity, precision, and passion to a dynamic, guest-focused restaurant environment. What You'll Do Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods with consistency, care, and attention to presentation. Execute established recipes while contributing creative ideas for seasonal dessert offerings. Partner with culinary leadership to support menus that complement Wally's elevated food and wine experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pastry station. Follow food safety, sanitation, storage, and handling standards to ensure exceptional quality. Support smooth kitchen operations by collaborating with chefs and team members during service. Help uphold the refined standards and guest experience that define the Wally's brand. What We're Looking For Experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar pastry role, preferably in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or pastry shop. Strong knowledge of baking, pastry techniques, decorating, plating, and recipe execution. A creative eye, steady attention to detail, and pride in producing beautiful, consistent work. Ability to stay organized and efficient in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Team-oriented communication skills and a professional, collaborative approach. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Culinary education or pastry certification is a plus, but passion and proven skill are most important. Why Wally's?
