Mujiri Oakland has become a staple affordable Japanese Restaurant in the East Bay and Bay Area. We are a fast pace Japanese restaurant specializing in traditional Edomae-style sushi with dine in and take out options. With growing popularity, we are fortunate enough to have been able to open our second location in Hayward. As we grow, we hope to find the right people to join our team.Position:

Depending on experience, $25-$30hr + great tips (above average) Looking for someone to start ASAP. Serious inquires only.What You'll Do:
- Break down whole fish and prep work
- Ensure proper station set up and food execution
- Clean, multi-task, and organized working habits with attention to detail
- Be able to execute consistent products based on the recipes and procedures
- Maintain food safety and sanitation, compliant with Department of Health standards
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of Sushi Chef experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients
- Must have prior knowledge in preparing and making sushi (nigiri, sashimi, as well as rolls)
- Self-driven work ethic and a desire to learn and grow
- Able to follow instructions and have attention to details
- Must have a positive attitude and enjoy a team driven atmosphere
