Sous Chef | AMFM HealthcareAMFM Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at our private residential treatment facilities. In this vital role, youll help nourish clients on their journey toward recovery by preparing delicious, well-balanced meals in a supportive and therapeutic environment. This position will work under our Head Chef.Location:
Los Angeles county, California (Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estate). This position will be required to travel to our various facilities in the area to deliver meals.Status and Compensation:
Full-Time | Hourly | Non-Exempt | $24-$28/hour.Schedule:

With a 6-8 client ratio per home, we provide 24/7 support from a multidisciplinary clinical team, incorporating traditional therapy, experiential modalities (art, music, equine), and a deep focus on each clients lived experience.Mission Connection:
A flexible, hybrid program designed to meet clients where they areboth literally and clinically. This outpatient service combines in-person and telehealth care for adults with primary mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Mission Connection ensures consistent, personalized support that fits into the clients real life.Mission Prep:
A dedicated adolescent program that works with teens and their families to create sustainable change. Focused on treating primary mental health challenges, Mission Prep offers a blend of proven therapies and innovative interventions in a supportive, home-like setting. What Youll Do:
As our Sous Chef, you'll make daily meal preparation and kitchen operations while ensuring that all meals meet dietary and safety standards especially for individuals with specialized nutritional needs, including eating disorders.You will be responsible for:
Preparing and serving lunch and dinner daily for clients and staffCoordinating meal delivery across multiple residential sitesGuiding breakfast and weekend meal service proceduresMaintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standardsAdapting meals to accommodate individual dietary restrictionsManaging food inventory, purchasing, and expense reconciliationCreating weekly menus that are both nutritious and satisfyingKeeping a respectful and positive attitude with clients and staffEnsuring compliance with all county, state, and ServSafe standardsQualifications:
High School Diploma or GED requiredValid Food Handlers Certification (ServSafe Manager Certification preferred)Possess valid drivers license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 23 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.Ability to pass background checks as required by the company, state, or federal guidelinesAbility to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 40 pounds)Experience preparing meals in a residential or healthcare setting preferredBenefits for full time employees:
