ServSafe certification required. Duties Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools Maintain strict food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols Support the cleaning of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Assist with catering events or special meal requests as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or catering environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of food safety management and proper food handling techniques Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, showcasing familiarity with specialized meal requirements Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Familiarity with recipe adherence and menu consistency across various dishes Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations Prior experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
